Events Module

The Events module can be used to display upcoming events. The events are displayed as a calendar view. Additionally, you can attach one or more Event (child) modules as sub-calendars to another Events module (parent) to display the child's events in the parent as a list view or as a master calendar of all other Events modules within your site. Events can include an image and description, re-occur (every week, month, year), span a duration of time, and include an expiration date.

Displaying as a calendar calendar:
The user will initially be presented with current month. Links on the calendar let the user move to the next or previous month, jump to a specific day, or view the hourly detail for week of the selected day.

Displaying as a list:
When displaying as a list all events will be displayed chronologically. You can specify how what events are displayed based on the number of days in the future and past, or the number of total events to show within a particular time in the future. Additionally you can choose to include/exclude particular event fields.

You can further customize your calendar by creating event Categories to assign color coding to simular events and event Locations which can have URL's assigned to them. More advanced features include the use of CSS and event signup, moderation, and notification.
