Events Module Settings  

In addition to the settings associated with the individual events within your Events Module some additional settings which affect the entire module, such as attaching sub-calendars, may be set as well. These settings can be accessed using the Module Settings page.  Events settings are divided into several sub-sections as described below.

        Edit Time Interval - Smallest time interval of events in minutes (only set when initially adding module).

        Event Time Zone - Time zone of event times within the module.

        Theme/Skin - The theme for the look and feel for the module instance.

        Default Module View - Intial view of the events (month, week, list).

        Module Views Allowed - Which views the module may be displayed in (month, week, list).

        Use Module Container & Skin - Overrides views the use portal default container and skin.

        Event Detail New Page - Show event detail on new page.

        Enable Category Select - Allows events to be assigned a category.

        Permit Recurring Events - Allow events to be created that re-occur.

        Prevent Schedule Conflict - Prevents event confilcts.

        Check for Location Conflict - Check for event location conflicts.

        Enable DNN Search - Allow the events within the module to be indexed for searching.

        Weekend Starts Friday - Causes Friday/Saturday to be displayed as the weekend.

        Enable Event Image - Display event images.

        Display Time Zone - Show time zone on event detail.

        Allow Subscriptions - Allow notification subscription to new events.

        Owner Change Allowed - Allows moderators to change event owner.

        Icon Bar - Location to display icon bar.

        Expire Events Older Than - Delete events older than specified number of days.

        Private Calendar Message  - Message for anonymous users instead of event detail.

        Set Event Detail Page Allowed - Allow specific page to be used for event detail.

Once all setting values have been set click on the Update link at the bottom of the page.
